Greetings,

With spring in full swing and summer on the doorstep – we find plenty of opportunities to enjoy or serve coming soon.

St C Community Days Sat June 27 – 4:30 to fireworks.  We will again have our “Oasis” tent at this year’s event – same location as past two years. Eric Gay, Park and Recs Director, mentioned the need for additional food/snack sources. Thus, we will again be offering baked goods this year (cookies, brownies, etc).

o   If you would like to contribute let us know - and simply place serving sizes of

homemade cookies, brownies, etc. in individual plastic bags to be handed out.

o   We will also be providing –

  • Pre-packaged non-allergenic snack bars for individuals with various food allergies.

  • Water, candy, and perhaps a popcorn and cotton candy machine.

  • Two face painting stations.

  • All items are passed out free to the public.

  • We will accept prayer requests and offer prayer.

  • LifeWise and Miracle of Life will be with us and Pro Life tent will be adjacent to us.

  • Anyone interested in helping - just email, text, or call us.

T.R.A.C. – Boys and Girls Summer Camps – Girls June 26-28 - Boys July 24-26

  • 5 women and 5 men are still needed for camp!  Keep praying Luke 10:2 with us:)

  • Training starts this Saturday.

Ebbert Farms Event Center Concert - Saturday, August 1, the Ebbert Farms Event Center.

  • Brother Randall and Friends will be performing.  The group is a well-known blue grass and gospel group. Tickets will be available at Ebbert Farm Market closer to the event. The free event is part of our "community outreach".

LifeWise 5K – Saturday, August 8, at the Belmont Count Fairgrounds

Next Unity Dinner – Tuesday, August 11 – at the Ebbert Farms Event Center.

  • Seeking Answers Together” to questions we all have - will continue.  It was so encouraging to see the turnout and hear the voices of so many at our NDP Dinner.  Although the questions apply to all ages - we will actively be seeking input from our youth and future college grads.

  • Ministries are always welcome to share their missions or give updates during dinner.

More to come.

 Grace and Peace,

Jim
