Good morning, hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful Labor Day weekend.  

 

At our recent dinner, the room filled with conversation as we worked our way through the questions of faith and God that we had received.  We plan to start adding these responses to our website Blog page soon.   

 

Some of the feedback from the past two dinners:

  • Was wonderful to see pastors from different denominations share their thoughts openly.

  • It was great to see so much “open” conversation erupt within the room. 

  • It was like each response to a question kept building upon the answer (fully expecting some rebuttal - none came). In fact, the answer often would conclude with someone giving testimony bearing witness to the answer.

 

We look forward to continuing the series of “open conversations.” 

 

At our next dinner – Tuesday, September 22 - Ms. Leah Amico, 3-time Olympic Softball Champion, will share her story, faith journey and testimony with us.  Followed with “open conversation” – questions and answers. 

 

Experienced in national team building, global competition, and being grounded in faith – one question we plan to explore together is:

What’s it take to - Build an Olympic Team “Spiritually” - for our region?  What insights, hurdles, solutions, and rewards might we learn from and discover.
